		Emily Ruth Wins Black Mountain Marathon (Wake Forest Sports) Regarded as one of the toughest marathons in North America, Ruth finished the with a time of 3:56.27. The marathon took place at Mount Mitchell, which reaches it's peak at 6,684' -- the highest in eastern America.
	Gasparilla Distance Classic

		Sultanova-Zhadnova Dominates Women's Bank of America Marathon (TBO) The 44-year old Russian won the event in 2 hours, 41 minutes and 26 seconds, beating the rest of the women's field by almost seven minutes. It's her second consecutive Gasparilla marathon victory.
		Russians Weather Elements, Field at Bank of America Marathon (TBO) Running in rainy and cool conditions that worsened as the wind picked up in the race's second half, Strijakov finished in 2 hours, 26 minutes, 34 seconds, winning the marathon.
	Hudson Mohawk Marathon

		Canton Man Wins Hudson Mohawk Marathon at University of Albany (News Watch 50) Dan Dominie won the race for the fifth time with a time of 2:58:32. The 33rd annual event featured a full 26-mile marathon with 55 registrants.
