Kenyans dominated the full marathon. Good local athletes did not run because they are eyeing the Commonwealth Games to be held in Melbourne, Australia from March 15. One of the marathon rules says that a marathoner is entitled to rest for three months after running, and this is why capable athletes feared to compete in the Moshi race.
