Arlington resident Matt Mansfield is preparing to run his second consecutive Boston Marathon. Time, place and finish will not be the primary objective for Mansfield, who is running this years' race in honor of his mother, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease.

Before crossing the finish line in 2:59:56 to claim first place in the Hogeye, Sentinella, a native of Anacortes, Wash., had never won a marathon while recording a finishing time of less than three hours. "Today was really cool," Sentinella said. "To win the marathon and then break three hours, those were both my goals.
