Miami Marathon race director Robert Pozo said runners pre-registered for the New Orleans event before Hurricane Katrina will be allowed to run the ING Miami Marathon or Half Marathon for free and will receive a race T-shirt and finishing medal. The Mardi Gras Marathon has not been canceled; however, this is done as a way of helping.
