                  STOCKHOLM AND MEDOC MARATHONS CLOSED
        Limited Number of Entries Available Through Marathon Tours

BOSTON (April 12, 2004) - The Stockholm Marathon and Le Marathon des
Chateaux du Medoc, two of Europe's most popular marathons, have reached
their entry limits and have ceased registration.  Scheduled for June 5,
2004, the Stockholm Marathon has reached its 16,000-runner cap and Le
Marathon des Chateaux du Medoc, scheduled for September 11, 2004, is sold
out with 8,000 runners.

Although closed to the masses, a limited number of entries to both races
are available to runners residing in North America who book their travel
through Boston-based Marathon Tours and Travel.

Known world wide for its exemplary scenery, the 26th Stockholm Marathon
course transverses past many of the city's historic landmarks before
finishing on the track inside the 1912 Olympic Stadium.  Le Marathon des
Chateaux du Medoc course takes runners - many of whom are in costume -
through 59 vineyards in the fabled villages of the Medoc wine region.
