Haile Gebrselassie failed in his third attempt to set the marathon world record in the Dubai Marathon earlier this year. Samuel Wanjiru has stated that he feels "Geb" has peaked due to his age and that he, Wanjiru, can take the record down by thirty seconds at the Berlin Marathon in September.
