The Andrew Jackson Marathon is the oldest marathon in Tennessee. The April 18th event held at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee will use the proceeds to support child abuse prevention. The marathon kicks of at 7 am.

   Jordanians place well in Dead Sea Marathon (The Jordan Times)
The sixteenth running of the Dead Sea Marathon showed strong finishes from Jordanian runners. Suleiman Zboun captured the overall title with a new course record of 2 hours 11 minutes and 14 seconds. Jordan's Kholoud Atieh took home top honors for the women's field with a time of 2 hours 51 minutes and 39 seconds.
