		A Name For Himself (Boston Globe) Robert Cheruiyot went with Deriba Merga the defending champion in the Boston Marathon and managed to win the race with a course record time of 2 hours 5 minutes and 52 seconds.
		Hall Plenty Fast, But Not Fast Enough (Boston Globe) Ryan Hall completed the Boston Marathon with the fastest time every by an American on the course with a time of 2 hours 8 minutes and 41 seconds and was good enough for fourth place.
