   Guardsman has competed in 60 marathons (Southtown Star)
Trent Sinnet is a marathon runner and he has done nine of the grueling 26.2 mile races in full military gear. He does them with other National Guard members and one of the races he does is the Bataan Memorial Death March in Las Cruces New Mexico.

   City Council In Favor Of Revised Los Angeles Marathon Route (Canyon News)
The City of Beverly Hills has approved a plan which includes West Los Angeles as part of the 2010 running of the Los Angeles Marathon. Race officials are continuing to speak with the City of Santa Monica in hopes of involving that city with part of the marathon route.

Chris Barth missed his winning time of 2 hours 44 minutes from his overall title in 2008, but running over four minutes slower did not stop Barth from winning his second straight Edge to Edge Marathon

Strong wind and clear skies propelled Judd Levirs to a victory in the Edge to Edge marathon with a time of 2 hours 55 minutes and 55 seconds.

Judd Levirs won the Edge To Edge Marathon with a time of 2 hours 55 minutes and 55 seconds. April Eryou won the women's division with a time of 3 hours 37 minutes and 47 seconds

Rising heat and windy conditions didn't slow Hillary Cheruiyot, Kenya, from winning the Manitoba Marathon in wire to wire fashion with a time of 2 hours 27 minutes and 29 seconds. Cindy Sondag of Grand Forks, North Dakota took home the women's top spot with a time of 3 hours 12 minutes and 9 seconds.

Michael Wisniewski, a Minnesota tranplant to Alaska, crushed a twenty-two year old course record at Mayor's Marathon in Anchorage by nearly two minutes with a time of 2 hours and 22 minutes and 29 seconds.

Mike Wisnewski broke the twenty-two year old course record held by Race Director Michael Friess en route to his dominant victory at the 2009 Mayor's Marathon.
