		Frigid Double For Swanson At Disney (Sun Sentinel) Terri Swanson decided to run the half-marathon on Saturday and the marathon on Sunday to complete the Goofy Challenge at the Disney World Marathon. Swanson had a slower time than normal and stated that the cold temperatures and wind slowed her.

		Brazilian Bastos Wins Disney Marathon 7th Time (Miami Herald) Adriano Bastos won the Walt Disney World Marathon for the seventh time with a time of 2 hours 22 minutes and 8 seconds in twenty-eight degree temperatures.

		Frigid Cold Fails To Dampen Spirits At Mississippi Blues Marathon (Clarion Ledger) Jynocel Basweti won the overall title at the Mississippi Blues Marathon with a time of 2 hours 19 minutes and 15 seconds. Janet Cherobon won the women's marathon for the second time in three years with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes and 44 seconds.
		Griffin's Effort Saturday Doesn't Look Like A Rookie (Clarion Ledger) Dale Griffin went out Saturday to run the Mississippi Blues Marathon as just his second full marathon. The Pearl, Mississippi native took home top Mississippi honors with a time of 2 hours 49 minutes and 33 seconds.

		Gulf Shores Resident Wins Women's Division At BankTrust First Light Marathon (Press-Register) Josh Whitehead of Madison Alabama won the First Light Marathon with a time of 2 hours 37 minutes and 5 seconds. Ana Hallex won the women's title with a time of 3 hours 20 minutes and 21 seconds.

		Elite Runners Will Chase Records At Mumbai Marathon (Times of India) The Mumbai Marathon has been granted the Gold Label from the IAAF. The list of elite athletes will be chasing a time under 2 hours and 10 minutes for the men and under 2 hours and 30 minutes for the women.
		Maria Polyzou Is Born To Run The Marathon (DNA India) Maria Polyzou was in Mumbai on Sunday to participate in the Mumbai Marathon Flame Run. The Mumbai Marathon will see last years second place finisher, David Tarus, chasing the thirty-five thousand dollar prize purse.
