Deena Kastor won the women's half marathon title with a time of 1 hours 9 minutes and 43 seconds.
		Thousands Attend Successful Rock 'n Roll Marathon (My Fox Phoenix) Ethiopian Terefe Yea took home top honors at the Rock N Roll Arizona Marathon with a time of 2 hours 12 minutes and 41 seconds. Teyba Nasar, also from Ethiopia, won the women's marathon with a time of 2 hours 30 minutes and 39 seconds.

		Trenton Native Becomes First American To Win Marathon At The Bottom Of The World (News-Democrat) Jason Wolfe won the Antarctic Marathon on December 17 with a time of 4 hours, 46 minutes and 50 seconds. He was joined by seventeen other runners from eleven different countries.
