		Alphonce Yatich of Kenya Tops All in Baltimore Marathon (Baltimore Sun) Alphonce Yatich of Kenya won the Baltimore Marathon with a time of 2 hours 14 minutes and 4 seconds. Iulia Arkhipova of Kyrgystan won the women's title with at time of 2 hours 35 minutes and 45 seconds.

		Moulton Wins Hartford Marathon (Hartford Courant) Patrick Moulton took off around the fifth mile of the Harford Marathon and went on to win with a time of 2 hours 25 minutes and 22 seconds. Jeannette Seckinger won the women's marathon with at time of 2 hours 46 minutes 33 seconds.
	Melbourne Marathon

		Inspired by McCann, Flint wins Melbourne Marathon (The Age) Lisa Flint won the Melbourne Marathon with a time of 2 hours 34 minutes and 8 seconds. Her time was thirteen minutes better than her previous best marathon.
		Streets of Joy and Pain at Melbourne Marathon. (Herald) Eight runners were taken to the hospital with another one-hundred being treated for heat related illnesses while Asnake Fekadu of Ethiopia wone the overall marathon title.

		Keitany Wins World Half-Marathon Championships (Brisbane Times) Mary Keitany won the women's World Half-Marathon Championships with a time of 1 hour 6 minutes and 36 seconds. Eritrean Tadese won his third Half-Marathon title with at tine of 59 minutes and 35 seconds.
	Okanagan Marathon
		Post-Race Review/ Results
		Okanagan Marathon a Chilly Chase (Kelowna.com) Brent Pickerl of Calgary won the Okanagan Marathon with a time of 2 hours 51 minutes and 57 seconds. Kellie Young of Alberta won the women's race with a time of 3 hours and 7 minutes.

		Kenyans Dominate Royal Victoria Marathon (Canada.com) Hillary Cheruiyot dominated the Royal Victoria Marathon on Sunday with a time of 2 hours 19 minuts and 26 seconds. Cheryl Murphy of Victoria won the women's race with a time of 2 hours 44 minutes and 1 second.
		Kenyan Runner Wins Victoria Marathon (CFAX1070) Hillary Cheruiyot won the thirtieth annual Royal Victoria Marathon with at time of 2 hours 19 minutes and 24 seconds. Cheruiyot hopes to run the worlds fastest marathon in the future.

		Kenyan Marathoner Hoping to Win Chicago, But Record May Have to Wait (New York Times) Samuel Wanjiru is the reigning Olympic Marathon Champion and is hopeful of winning the Chicago Marathon. Wanjiru hope to run 2 hours and 4 or 5 minutes and a new course record but may have to wait for a new world record until he runs Berlin, one of the fastest marathon courses, next fall.

		Jewish Community Center to run Atlantic City Marathon (Shore News Today) The fifty-first running of the Atlantic City Marathon was slated for October 16. Plans for a new race director fell through and until the Jewish Community Center stepped up it looked as though the fourth oldest marathon in the country was coming to an end.
