 Atlanta Marathon
  Post-Race Review/ Results
   Registration for Thanksgiving day Atlanta Marathon is running out of time fast. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
Registrations for the Thanksgiving Day Atlanta Marathon ended Sunday at Midnight. On site registration will be open only until 8 pm Tuesday.
 
 Beirut International Marathon
  Post-Race Review/ Results
   ETHIOPIAN DUO TRIUMPH IN BEIRUT (Sporting Life)
An Ethiopian man and woman were winners at the Beirut International Marathon. Tamrat Elanso, running alone after 35K, set a new PR while claiming the victory in 2:19:46. David Kiplagat Kuino of Kenya was the second finisher just three seconds ahead of Ethiopian Abraham Yilma Belete. Jemilu, who was third in the 2006 Dubai Marathon was the winner in 2:41:24. Ethiopians Meseret Legese Regesa (2:48:52) and Etaferahu Tarekegn Getahun (2:55:14) finished second and third respectively.
 
   Ethiopian Wins Beirut Marathon (An-Nahar)
Tamrat Elanso of Ethiopia was the winner of the Beirut International Marathon in 2:19:46. David Kiplagat Kuino of Kenya was second in 2:21:51. Abraham Yilma Belete of Ethiopia was third in 2:21:54.
 
 Marabana Havana Marathon

   More than 70 Countries in Marabana Marathon (Prensa Latina)
More than 1,000 runners from 73 countries are expected to participate in the Marabana Havan Marathon.

   Marabana Marathon Held in Cuba (Cuban News Agency)
The Marabana Marathon held in Havana, Cuba had nearly 600 foreign athletes participate in the event along with 400 students from the International School of Physical Education and Sports which is located in the southest of Havana.

   Marathon participant dies in Manila (GMA TV)
A 36-year-old man, Fidel Camson, suffered a heart attack near the finish line at the Milo Marathon and was rushed to a hospital where he died shortly after.

   Michael Wardian wins Kennedy 50-Miler (Frederick News-Post)
Michael Wardian won the 45th Annual JFK 50-Miler in 5:50:46, the race's third fastest time ever. 1,471 people participated in the race.
 
 Philadelphia Marathon
  Post-Race Review/ Results
   Price, Psitet win Philly marathon in windy, cold conditions (USA Today)
Timothy Psitet ran with his training partner, Solomon Too until mile 25 when Too weakened and Psitet continued on for the victory in 2:25:01. Too finished second in 2:26:03. Kristin Price won the women's divisition in 2:42:05 to qualify for the Olympic Trials marathon in Boston in April.
 
 Route 66 Marathon
  Post-Race Review/ Results
   Norman resident wins Route 66 Marathon (Tulsa World)
Scott Downard of Norman won his debut marathon in 2:30:41, faster than the previous year's finish time, but on a different course. Tommy Manning finished second in 2:35:38.
 
 Tokyo International Women's Marathon
  Post-Race Review/ Results
   Noguchi triumphs in Tokyo Marathon (CNN)
Running her first marathon in two years, Mizuki Noguchi was the winner at the Tokyo International Women's Marathon, winning the race in 2:21:37. The race is a qualifying event for Noguchi to get onto the Japanese Beijing Olympics team. Salina Kosgei was second in 2:23:30 and Reiko Tosa - the bronze medalist at the World Championships Marathon - was third.

   Noguchi excited going into Tokyo showdown with Shibui (The Daily Yomiuri)
Mizuki Noguchi, Yoko Shibui and Hiromi Ominami will be three favorites going into the Tokyo International Women's Marathon. For Noguchi, the race will be a step in her preparation to defend the Olympic Gold Medal she won at the Athens Olympics.
