		Hogue Repeats At Mountain Home Marathon (Baxter Bulletin) Charlie Hogue successfully defended his title at the Mountain Home Marathon for Kenya. His winning time for the 26.2 mile distance was 2 hours 58 minutes. It was sixteen minutes better than his winning time last year.

		Ethiopian Sport Legend Mamo Woldes Family Flourish in Minnesota (Ethiopian News) Mamo Wolde won Olympic Gold in the Marathon at the 1968 Mexico City. Wolde spent time in prison wrongly accused of a crime. Today his family this lives in Minnesota having to flee the turmoil in Ethiopia.

		Tragedy at Bahrain Marathon (Gulf Daily News) Sumit Mathew, 35, was complaining of leg cramps and nausea before collapsing during the Bahrain Marathon. He was running the last stage of the race but collapsed and passed away.
