		Ethiopian Sport Legend Mamo Woldes Family Flourish in Minnesota (Ethiopian News) Mamo Wolde won Olympic Gold in the Marathon at the 1968 Mexico City. Wolde spent time in prison wrongly accused of a crime. Today his family this lives in Minnesota having to flee the turmoil in Ethiopia.

		International Codetel Santo Domingo Marathon is Today (Dominican Today) More than sixteen-hundred athletes from around the world will participate in the Codetel Marathon that kicks off at 4 pm. Competitors range in age from fifteen to ninety years of age.

		Tragedy at Bahrain Marathon (Gulf Daily News) Sumit Mathew, 35, was complaining of leg cramps and nausea before collapsing during the Bahrain Marathon. He was running the last stage of the race but collapsed and passed away.
