   White, Nosser Take Wins at Baton Rouge Beach Marathon (The Advocate)
Jerry White won the Baton Rouge Beach Marathon with a time of 2 hours 52 minutes and 5 seconds. Francine Nosser took home top honors for the women with a time of 3 hours 35 minutes and 56 seconds.

   Temam and Tadesse Take Beirut Marathon Titles (IAAF.org)
Mohammed Temam ran to victory in the Beirut Marathon with a time of 2 hours 16 minutes and 12 seconds. Mihret Tadesse took home the women's title with a time of 2 hours 42 minutes and 41 seconds.

Jynocel Basweti came to Memphis to set the course record for the marathon. His time of 2 hours 16 minutes and 21 seconds was fast enough for the course record if it stands up. Basweti veered of course due to cones on the course from a previous race.

St. Jude Memphis Marathon officials have stated that a woman running in the Saturday event passed away after completing the half-marathon. She was the first runner to pass away in the races thirty year history.

   Miramar's Ronnie Holassie Wins Second Straight Palm Beaches Marathon; Boston Doctor Wins Women's Race (Palm Beach Post)
Ronnie Holassie, two-time Olympic marathon runner, won his second Marathon of the Palm Beaches with a time of 2 hours 24 minutes and 58 seconds. Jody Dushay, a doctor from Boston, won the women's race with a time of 2 hours 53 minutes and 23 seconds.

Kenyan, Augustine Ronoh won the Pune International Marathon with a time of 2 hours 13 minutes and 5 seconds. More than thirty-thousand spectators cheered on the runners through the city of Pune.
 
   Kenyans Dominate the Show in Pune Marathon (The Hindu)
Augustine Ronoh, Kenya, won the twenty-fourth Pune International Marathon with a time of 2 hours 13 minutes and 5 seconds. Fellow Kenyan Peter Mutisya was second in 2 hours 15 minutes and 17 seconds.
