   White, Nosser Take Wins at Baton Rouge Beach Marathon (The Advocate)
Jerry White won the Baton Rouge Beach Marathon with a time of 2 hours 52 minutes and 5 seconds. Francine Nosser took home top honors for the women with a time of 3 hours 35 minutes and 56 seconds.

   Temam and Tadesse Take Beirut Marathon Titles (IAAF.org)
Mohammed Temam ran to victory in the Beirut Marathon with a time of 2 hours 16 minutes and 12 seconds. Mihret Tadesse took home the women's title with a time of 2 hours 42 minutes and 41 seconds.

Mohammed Hussein Teman and Mihred Tadesse won the men and women's divisions of the Beirut Marathon on Sunday. Teman won with a time of 2 hours 16 minutes and 12 seconds.

Tesfaye Girma-Bekele won the California International Marathon with a time of 2 hours 13 minutes and 42 seconds. Josh Cox followed closely with a time of 2 hours 13 minutes and 52 seconds.

Steve Speirs won the Cayman Islands Marathon with a time of 2 hours 59 minutes and 5 seconds. Pre-race favorite Scott Brittain dropped out of the race a few miles prior to the finish of the 26.2 mile race.

   Kebede Sets Record For Marathon Triple (IAAF.org)
Tsegaye Kebeded won the Fukuoka Marathon in 2 hours 5 minutes and 18 seconds. He also ran 2 hours 5 minutes and 20 seconds in London and 2 hours 8 minutes and 35 seconds in Berlin. An average of 2 hours 6 minutes and 24 seconds for a new triple marathon record.
