		Valentine's Marathon Gets Hearts Racing (The Daily Texan) The 2010 Austin Marathon kicked off on Valentine's Day at 7 am with more than thirteen-thousand, five hundred runners hitting the pavement. Among the participants were runners dressed as Batman, Braveheart and a fairy.

		The Perfect Day at The Austin Marathon (The Statesman) Keith Pierce defeated all of the four-thousand five hundred runners in the Austin Marathon by running a time of 2 hours 20 minutes and 35 seconds which set a new personal best for the 29 year-old by nearly two minutes.
		Pierce, Pishny Cruise To Austine Marathon Titles (News8Austin) Keith Pierce won the overall title of the Austin Marathon with a time of 2 hours 20 minutes and 35 minutes which prevented him from reaching the 2 hour and 19 minute standard of the Olympic Trials qualifying mark.

		Maylene Resident Wins Mercedes-Benz Marathon (Shelby County Reporter) Jessica Jacobs won her second consecutive Mercedes-Benz Marathon in Birmingham. The 33 year-old finished first among all female competitors in the 26.2 mile race with a time of 2 hours 54 minutes and 53 seconds.
