Morocco's Adil Annani wins Beppu-Oita Marathon (IAAF) Adil Annani of Morocco won Sunday's Beppu-Oita Marathon with a time of 2:10:15. Two Japanese runners took a close second and third, Seiji Kobayashi finishing in 2:10:38 and Keita Akiba, running his first marathon, in 2:10:53. Akiba's marathon debut was faster than that of Hiromi Taniguchi, who went on to with the Olympic gold medal after running a 2:13:16 in his first marathon at Beppu Oita. | ||
