Yuri Kano made her move at the thirty-one kilometer mark of the Nagoya Women's Marathon and never looked back. She finished with a time of 2 hours 27 minutes and 11 seconds, more than one minute ahead of Deratu Tulu in second place.

Heather Fuhr, Canada, set the women's course record by winning the Catalina Marathon with a time of 3 hours and 7 minutes. The overall winner was Joshua Loren who took the top honor with a time of 3 hours 2 minutes and 4 seconds.

Ollie Gibson won his second Duchy Marathon title during the event's thirty-fifth running. Gibson re-took the lead and went on to win the marathon by more than six minutes.

Moninda Marube won the Little Rock Marathon with a time of 2 hours 29 minutes and 40 seconds. Leah Thorvilson successfully defended her title with a winning time of 2 hours 48 minutes and 28 seconds.
