		Juarez Native Gives Up Sizable Lead, But Still Wins (El Paso Times) Edgar Trillo had to mount a last minute attack to outkick local Richard Gonzalez to reclaim his lead in the El Paso Marathon. Trillo would win the marathon by only two seconds.

Larisa Pitchkolan won the women's division with a time of 3 hours 17 minutes and 36 seconds.
