Daniel Tapia won the Big Sur International Marathon with a time of 2 hours 26 minutes and 9 seconds. The first woman was Veronica Clemens who won with a time of 2 hours 55 minutes and 18 seconds.
 
   Castorville's Tapia Is County's First Marathon Winner (The Herald)
Daniel Tapia won the Big Sur International Marathon in his marathon debut with a time of 2 hours 26 minutes and 9 seconds.
 
   New York's Clemens Wins Her Big Sur Debut (The Herald)
Veronica Clemens of New York won the Big Sur International Marathon on her first attempt with a time of 2 hours 55 minutes and 18 seconds.
