   Kenyans Limo, Kibet And Biwott Chase Glory In Vienna (Athletics Africa)
Felix Limo will headline the Vienna City Marathon on April 18. Eight runners that have run under 2 hours and 10 minutes for the marathon will join Limo in an attempt to go under the course record of 2 hours 7 minutes and 38 seconds.

   Meb Keflezighi To Defend New York City Marathon Title (The New York Times)
Meb Keflezighi will return to the New York City Marathon on November 7 to attempt to be the first American since Alberto Salazar to win back-to-back titles. Deena Kastor has also entered the race and is the current American women's marathon record holder.

Four athletes from Zimbabwe claimed spots in the top ten of the Two Oceans Marathon while three Lesotho athletes dominated the top three spots with Mabuthile Lebopo won the race with a time of 3 hours 6 minutes and 18 seconds

Sandile Ngunuza finished in tenth spot at the Two Oceans Marathon as the first South African to finish the 56 kilometer race with a time of 3 hours 15 minutes and 42 seconds.
