Negewo won in two hours, 16 minutes and 56 seconds - almost a minute outside Marty Deane's record set in 1985.
 
   Ethiopian Urga Negewo Wins Belfast Marathon (BBC.News)
Urga Negewo won the twenty-ninth Belfast Marathon with a time of 2 hours 16 minutes and 53 seconds. Sarah Stradling won the women's title.
