   Kuch’s marathon win streak continues at Deadwood Mickelson (Todays News Herald)
Dan Kuch went to South Dakato for the first time with one thing on his mind. He wanted to win the Deadwood Mickelson Marathon. He won the race with a time of 2 hours 45 minutes which keeps his marathon win streak alive with six in a row.
 
   Deadwood-Mickelson Marathon provides something for everyone (rapid city journal)
Erin Manlove won the women's Deadwood Mickelson marathon title with a time of 3 hour 31 minutes and 41 seconds. Dan Kuch won the overall marathon title with a time of 2 hours 46 minutes and 33 seconds.

Noelle Green easily won the women's title at the Steamboat Marathon by more than twenty-minutes. Jason Saitta won his ninth overall marathon title and his fifth in a row.

   Sunburst Marathon: Lessons lessen the load (South Bend Triibune)
Three Ohioans stood atop the podium at the Sunburst Festival of Races in South Bend, IN. Defending Champion Justin Gillette finished a disappointing fourth place with a time of 2 hours 47 minutes while Justin Baum, running his first marathon, took overall honors with a time of 2 hours 34 minutes and 6 seconds.
