Jim Mundy ran in two marathons this past weekend and is closing in on his three-hundredth marathon. His time at the 3 to Go Marathon was 5 hours and 9 minutes. Mundy then ran the Robin Hood Marathon in 3 hours 49 minutes and 12 seconds.

 Erie Marathon at Presque Isle

   Finally First: Marathon Veterans Engle, Pastore Earn Erie Wins (Erie Times-News)
Chuck Engle, Dublin, finally won the Erie Marathon on his fifth attempt. Engle's time of 2 hours 45 minutes and 15 seconds was over 4 minutes better than runner-up Jeff Nelson. Melissa Pastore, Fairview, took the top spot for the women with a time of 3 hours, 27 minutes and 57 seconds.
