		Yellow Springs Teacher Wins U.S. Air Force Marathon (Dayton Daily News) Dave Johnson of Xenia Ohio is a cancer survivor. He can now add marathon champion to his list of successes. Johnson won the Air Force Marathon with a time of 2 hours 30 minutes and 42 seconds.

		Haile Gebrselassie Wins the Berlin Marathon (2:06:08), But No New World Record (Examiner.com) Haile Gebrselassie won his fourth title at the Berlin Marathon on Sunday morning missing his own marathon world record by finishing with a time of 2 hours 6 minutes and 8 seconds.
		Gebrselassie retains Berlin crown (BBC Sports) Haile Gebrselassie took home his fourth title at the Berlin Marathon with a time of 2 hours 6 minutes and 8 seconds in very warm conditions which hampered his attempt to break his own world record.

		Saari Cruises to Second Equinox Triumph in Three Years (Daily News Miner) Matias Saari won his second Equinox Marathon with a time of 2 hours 51 minutes and 5 seconds in what has been called one of the most grueling marathons in the country.
