Registration for Grandma's Marathon Opens Tomorrow

Grandma's Marathon, scheduled for Saturday, June 17 in Duluth, Minn., opens their registration process tomorrow. This year they will celebrate the 30th running of their event.

Entry forms are also available by calling (218) 727-0947, or by downloading and printing one off the web site http://www.grandmasmarathon.com on January
23 or thereafter.

"Because we are celebrating our 30th anniversary, we anticipate that the marathon will sell-out once again this year," said Scott Keenan, executive director. "We really encourage people to complete their entry form and mail it into us as soon as possible. This is the best way to secure a spot in the race."

Grandma's Marathon has reached the capacity field limit for 11 straight years. The 2006 field is limited to 9,500 people.
