Industry News - Grandma's Marathon Registration Opens Tomorrow

Registration for the 33rd running of Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, Minn., opens tomorrow just past the stroke of midnight, organizers announced yesterday. Interested athletes should log on to www.GrandmasMarathon.com to register as soon as possible; the field is capped at 9500 registrants and the race has sold out for 14 consecutive years.

The event, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, also incorporates the William A. Irvin 5-K on June 19, and the Garry Bjorklund Half-Marathon on the same day as the marathon. Organizers expect a total of 18,000 runners for the entire race festival.
