Dunkin Donuts and USAA all sign on for 2007 event
Baltimore, MD – Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today that
Dunkin' Donuts and USAA have signed on as sponsors of the 2007 Under Armour
Baltimore Running Festival. This marks the first time each of these
companies have been affiliated with the seven-year event.
Dunkin' Donuts, the world's largest coffee and baked goods chain, serving
more than 3 million customers per day, will be the Official Coffee and
Breakfast Supplier of the Baltimore Running Festival. Members of the local
Fire Departments will be on hand to serve food and beverages with portions
of the proceeds benefiting the Fire Department Foundation.
"Dunkin' Donuts is excited to be a part of the Baltimore Marathon not just
because it is a major event in the region but also because it benefits so
many local charities," stated Stacey Carroll, Regional Marketing Director.
USAA has signed on as the sponsor of the USAA Armed Forces Challenge (AFC).
USAA is a full financial services company, which provides insurance,
banking, and investments for the military and their families. Courtesy of
USAA, the AFC provides marathon, half-marathon and team relay racers who
have served or are currently serving in the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard,
Marines or Navy with a $5 discount off of the entry fee and separate prizes
and awards. In addition, the first 500 AFC runners who finish their race
are eligible for a special USAA Finishers T-Shirt.
"USAA is proud to honor the sacrifices of our military members by
sponsoring the USAA Armed Forces Challenge," said Mayra Rivera, Executive
Marketing Director of USAA. "We've served the military and their families
for more than 80 years, and we understand the challenges, sacrifices, and
rewards that come with wearing the uniform."
The 2007 Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival, which consists of the
Under Armour Baltimore Marathon, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
