Force 3 Signs on as Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival Sponsor
Technology company will allow live tracking of runners
Baltimore, MD – Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today that
Force 3 has signed on as sponsor of the 2007 Under Armour Baltimore Running
Festival. Force 3 joins Dunkin Donuts and USAA as first time sponsors of
the seven-year old event.
Force 3 will be the Official Technology Provider of the Under Armour
Baltimore Running Festival and will make it possible for spectators,
whether they are at home in any part of the world or on-site on race day,
to track runners throughout the race at various points along the course.
Fans can either access this information via text message on their cell
phones or e-mail or through the official website at
www.thebaltimoremarathon.com. In addition, runners will be able to access their results and splits immediately following the race in the Force 3 Results Tent.

The 2007 Under Armour Baltimore Running Festival, which consists of the
Under Armour Baltimore Marathon, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
Half-Marathon, United Way 5K, Legg Mason Funds Team Relay and Kids' Fun
Run, will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at M&T Bank Stadium.
The event has generated over 60 million dollars in revenue for the city and
over 3 million dollars for local charities. For the fourth-straight year,
the half-marathon has sold out after organizers increased the number of
slots to 5,500. In addition, the Running Festival has recently seen its
12,000th runner register, putting it on pace for 14,000 participants this
year.
