New York, October 16, 2024 - Nonprofit New York Road Runners (NYRR)
announced today a new initiative - NYRR Beyond the Finish Line - to elevate
the TCS New York City Marathon experience for runners by connecting them
with New York institutions, including museums, historical sites, performing
arts centers, and cultural organizations.

As the producer of 60 adult and youth events annually, New York Road
Runners creates best-in-class experiences, including the TCS New York City
Marathon, known as the BEST DAY in New York City. Through NYRR Beyond the
Finish Line, New York Road Runners will provide TCS New York City Marathon
runners and their supporters unique opportunities to engage with
quintessential New York City attractions offering free and discounted
admissions, behind-the-scenes access, private tours, and meet-and-greet
opportunities.

"Every year, thousands of runners and millions of spectators flock to New
York City for the TCS New York City Marathon," said Rob Simmelkjaer, CEO,
New York Road Runners. "By collaborating with other iconic New York
institutions that are synonymous with the city, we will extend the impact
of the marathon long after runners cross the finish line in Central Park."

"No visit to New York is complete without experiencing our extraordinary
cultural community," said NYC Cultural Affairs Commissioner Laurie Cumbo.
"We encourage all marathon participants and their families to RUN to one of
the amazing arts groups that New York Road Runners have partnered with on
this exciting initiative!"

NYRR Beyond the Finish Line will feature Disney on Broadway Signature
Events at THE LION KING and ALADDIN on Broadway on Monday, November 4
including specially priced tickets, a post-show panel discussion and
commemorative gift.

"The TCS New York City Marathon is an iconic New York City event and we're
thrilled to partner with New York Road Runners to offer participants and
their supporters the opportunity to experience Broadway at its best," said
Angelo Desimini, SVP, Licensed Partnerships and Brand Management, Disney
Theatrical Group.

At The Metropolitan Museum of Art, TCS New York City Marathon finishers
will receive discounted admission with their medal on Monday, November 4.
Finishers and their supporters are also invited to enjoy a celebratory
breakfast reception, athleticism-themed gallery chats, and exclusive access
before the Museum opens.

"We're thrilled to be partnering with NYRR for the second year in a row to
welcome runners from across the globe into our halls," said Gretchen Scott,
Head of Marketing, The Met. "While many run past the Museum on their way to
the finish line, this collaboration is meant to promote both cultural
discovery and post-race recovery."

As part of NYRR Beyond the Finish Line, the Museum of Modern Art will host
a special celebration for TCS New York City Marathon finishers and their
supporters with before hours access and gallery talks, in addition to free
admission for all TCS New York City Marathon finishers on Monday,
November 4, plus a complimentary 3-month membership trial.

"MoMA is thrilled to collaborate with NYRR to celebrate the thousands of
runners from New York and around the world who bring such amazing energy to
our city for the iconic TCS New York City Marathon," shared Glenn D. Lowry,
The David Rockefeller Director of The Museum of Modern Art. Lowry added,
"We look forward to welcoming them to MoMA to experience the work of
artists whose creative energy also fuels our city, and helps us better
understand the world around us."

Art, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, Guggenheim Museum, One World Observatory, the
9/11 Memorial & Museum, and the Jackie Robinson Museum.
