Celebrity and Notable Runners Ready to Run 2024 TCS New York City Marathon
Randall Park, Jacob Soboroff, and Nev Schulman among celebrities running
in the TCS New York City Marathon
Katherine Morikawa will participate for the first time
New York, October 17, 2024 - Nonprofit New York Road Runners (NYRR) has
announced its celebrity lineup for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon,
Sunday, November 3, including stars from a range of backgrounds spanning
television, film, sports, and entertainment. The TCS New York City Marathon
is one of 60 adult and youth events put on annually by NYRR, whose vision
is to build healthier lives and stronger communities through the
transformative power of running.
Actor Randall Park, best known for the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat will
make his 26.2-mile debut on behalf of KultureCity. Television correspondent
Jacob Soboroff of NBC News will be running on behalf of Big Brothers Big
Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. Producer and host of MTV's Catfish Nev
Schulman will run in his eighth TCS New York City Marathon and second as a
guide runner for a visually impaired Achilles athlete. Schulman returns
this year after recently breaking his neck in a devastating bicycling
accident this past August.
Katherine Morikawa, wife of professional golfer Collin Morikawa will run on
behalf of t. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Greg Rikaart, known for his long-term role in the soap operas Days of Our
Lives and The Young and the Restless, will participate in the event for the
first time on behalf of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Several
additional stars from reality television programs include Matt James and
Peter Weber of The Bachelor. Zac Clark and Joe Amabile of The Bachelorette
will also run, supporting Release Recovery. Lastly, Vinny Guadagnino of
Jersey Shore will be taking on the race for the first time.
As part of their commitment to mental health, members of the Maybelline Run
Club will run for Team Maybelline in partnership with the National Alliance
on Mental Illness (NAMI), including actress Claire Holt, television host
and multimedia personality Tayshia Adams, model Haley Kalil, and beauty
influencer and entrepreneur Karen Sarahi Gonzalez.

The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon will take place Sunday, November 3,
drawing more than 50,000 runners and will be televised in the New York
tristate area live on WABC-TV Channel 7, nationally on ESPN2, and around
the world by various international broadcasters.
