Rome - The stage is set for an extraordinary celebration as Run Rome The
Marathon marks its 30th edition on Sunday, March 16, 2025, combining 
athletic excellence, cultural splendor, and a profound economic and social
impact. As runners cross one of the world's most iconic routes in the 
eternal city, their journey becomes a symphony of emotion, determination, 
and awe-inspiring history.

An unmissable event set against the backdrop of Rome's most iconic 
landmarks. Organized by Infront Italy, Corriere dello Sport-Stadio, Italia 
Marathon Club, and Atielle, this milestone edition coincides with the 2025 
Jubilee Year, promising a once-in-a-lifetime experience for participants 
and spectators alike.

The 30th Run Rome The Marathon represents more than a race; it is a 
celebration of resilience, unity, and the timeless allure of Rome. For 
runners and visitors alike, it's a chance to etch their stories into the 
city's enduring legacy. With over 60,000 participants expected and an 
estimated economic impact of €75 million, this marathon cements its 
position as a premier global sporting event.

Record breaking event

This year, the marathon will proudly collaborate with the film "Gladiator 
II," With the theme #RunLikeAGladiator, the marathon celebrates the 
marathon runner as a modern gladiator, ready to conquer the historic
streets of Rome. Already recognized as the fastest marathon in Italy in
2024 for both men and women, the partnership with "Gladiator II" adds
further value to the event, positioning it among the must-attend marathons.

The gladiator medal

Runners from around the world will converge in the Eternal City to embrace
a momentous challenge and claim the ultimate and most iconic reward yet: 
The Gladiator Medal. This year's medal, represents protection, strength, 
and the indomitable spirit of those who conquer their greatest challenges. 
This shield embodies the journey of every runner, from the first step to 
the final triumph over personal limits, crushing fear, fatigue, and doubt 
along the way. With the call to #RunLikeAGladiator, this isn't just a

A route like no other

From the Colosseum to St. Peter's Basilica, the course weaves through 
Rome's timeless monuments, offering runners and spectators a moving tableau

42.195 km journey through Rome's history and grandeur. Run4Rome Relay: a 
team relay race supporting charitable causes. Fun Run (Stracittadina): Held 
on Saturday 15, a 5 km celebration for runners of all ages and abilities.
