(about: 2010) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 The Christmas Marathon COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 Great location, wonderful trails, beautiful park and awesome snacks at the rest area every 6.5 miles; I couldn't ask for anything more in a 10K, half-marathon and marathon race combined in the same forested scenery at Van Cortlandt Park. Organizers were like Santa Claus to everyone running, and all of the runners with Santa Claus hats were like Santa to all of the other park visitors, who treated us like family on the same trails they regularly enjoy. This race was free because the organizers wanted to share the beauty in our world with anyone who could join us on this holiday in appreciation of all things bright and beautiful. Merry Christmas!!!

(about: 2010) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 The Christmas Marathon COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 1 This was a great "little" race on Christmas Day. It has a 4-loop course on the trails in Van Cortland Park, which makes it challenging. There was plenty of course support and the organization was top-notch!

I ran the half-marathon and next time I'll do the marathon. I really enjoyed this. And to gift swap was great concept. Thank you! Oh, yes; I love the Christmas tree at the start!!!!
