Race Details

This is a beautiful course that features rolling hills and picturesque village and country roads. The course begins at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, in Rhinebeck, NY. Half marathoners will complete one loop and full marathoners will complete the loop twice. Full Marathoners is a Boston Qualifier. See a map of the course on the race website.

L. from New York City (5/13/2019) "Rhinebeck Full Marathon" (about: 2019) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 Rhinebeck Hudson Valley Full & Half Marathon COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 1 This was my 49th marathon. It was a beautiful course, the organization was perfect and the volunteers and police were very friendly. Race day the weather gods came through for us...it was a beautiful sunny 60 degree day! It is a small race so if you do the full you will be by yourself most of the time. The course is well marked, you will not get lost and I never felt unsafe!!! The course is described as gentle rolling hills with some flat stretches. Its a course to be reckoned with. Just make sure you train for the up and down hills that aren't so gentle. It wasn't my easiest marathon but it was a great one!! I say run it!!!

Well organized, beautiful course, and loads of fun. I'm thinking of running the full this year.
j. g. from syracuse, ny (5/22/2016) "This is a runners race" (about: 2016) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 Rhinebeck Hudson Valley Full & Half Marathon COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 I ran the half with my daughter. Course is beautiful, a few hills but always followed by some downhill. Very few spectators which I actually prefer, very peaceful. Plenty of water stops etc. You can pull up ten minutes before it starts, park 100 yards from where you get your packet and be in your car five minutes after you finish. Weather was perfect. stayed in a hotel 15 minutes away, right off I-87.Cheap. I would definitely do this one again, would love to run the full.
