Prepare for a world-class challenge in Virginia's Blue Ridge! With the most elevation change of any road race in America, this course tests your spirit while offering breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountain views and unmatched hospitality.

The course takes runners past the city’s five major parks and, as in previous years, will include a portion of the Lake Fayetteville Trail. The course will be run primarily on Springdale streets, but sections will run through Johnson and Fayetteville, and a small portion of the 26.2-mile course will take place on the Razorback Greenway.

Finishing downtown offers a net decline, helping runners achieve faster times and boosting their chances to qualify for the 2026 Boston Marathon or the 2025 Abbott WMM Age Group Marathon World Championships, all while enjoying the city’s historic center.

You will be running through this extraordinary rural community on back and dirt roads, with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains, challenging rollin farmlands with tough climbs and descents, quaint villages, historic barns, covered bridges and fields of our famous Vermont cows!

The backdrop for setting personal bests with a fast, flat, and scenic point to point race. With a flat course we are the fastest paced course on the East Coast. Enjoy a fun and scenic race running by the beach and historic downtown!

The GE Appliances Kentucky Derby Festival miniMarathon & Marathon, a beloved spring tradition in Kentucky, is the state’s largest road racing event. In 2025, the 52nd miniMarathon and 24th Marathon kick off at Louisville Slugger Field, taking runners through vibrant neighborhoods and the iconic Churchill Downs infield. Celebrate at the finish line with family, friends, and a lively post-race party!

Welcome to the Charlevoix Marathon! One of the most beautiful running courses in the world. You're in for an amazing start line on the famous Bridge Street, along Lake Michigan and finishing in old town Charlevoix and Round Lake!
