The marathon begins at the iconic Fori Imperiali, a historic area that embodies the grandeur of ancient Rome.

From Fori Imperiali, the route takes you past Piazza Venezia, home to the striking Vittoriano monument, also known as the Altar of the Fatherland.

Continuing onward, you'll pass the ancient Circo Massimo, the largest stadium of ancient Rome, where chariot races once thrilled the crowds.

Continue your running journey as you pass through the Piazza di Spagna, home to the iconic Fontana della Barcaccia, and ascend the historic Spanish Steps.
