Community First Fox Cities Marathon Festival of Races
Announces 2007 Charity Partners

APPLETON, WI – The Community First Fox Cities Marathon is pleased to
announce their 2007 Charity Partners – the Fox Valley Humane Association
and the American Cancer Society.

Each participant in the Time Warner Cable 5K Run/Walk on Saturday,
September 22, 2007, can choose their charity and $5 of their entry fee will
be donated to either the Fox Valley Humane Association or American Cancer
Society. Participants in any weekend event can choose to make a donation
or raise pledges on behalf of the Fox Valley Humane Association or American
Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) also has a new Charity Runner program for
all Sunday participants. Participants in the Community First Fox Cities
Marathon, U.S. Cellular Half Marathon or Appleton Papers PowerWalk who sign
up for the Charity Runner program commit to raising a minimum of $1,000
($500 per participant in the Orthopedic & Sports Institute Relay Marathon)
in the fight against cancer. The American Cancer Society will offer these
program participants: discounts at running stores, a running singlet, and
many race day perks.

More information on the 2007 charity partners and the Charity Runner
program is available on the Community First Fox Cities Marathon website –
www.foxcitiesmarathon.org.

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon is a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization. With over 4,700 participants in 2006, the 17th annual event
is set for September 22-23, 2007.
