Deadline For Early Registration Fast Approaching
For Pensacola Marathon

PENSACOLA, Fla. (Dec. 5, 2006) – Ready-Set-Register! Runners have only
until Sunday, Dec. 31 to take advantage of the early registration discounts
for the 3rd annual Pensacola Marathon and Half Marathon, to be held Sunday,
Feb. 18, 2007.

"It's a great bargain for anyone planning to take part in the full or half
marathon," said Paul Epstein, race director. "Especially since the races
are expected to fill up quickly this year, it's more important than ever
for participants to get their registrations in early."

Online entries must be completed by Midnight, Dec. 31 and mail
registrations must be postmarked by Dec. 31 to take advantage of the
discounted rates.

Entry fees are as follows: $45 for the marathon and $35 for the half
marathon through Dec. 31; $55 for the marathon and $45 for the half
marathon through Jan. 31 and $65 for the marathon and $55 for the half
marathon thereafter.

The Pensacola Marathon & Half Marathon will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday,
Feb. 18, in downtown Pensacola. The 26.2 mile USATF certified course
(#FL-05041DL) features scenic views of the bay and downtown Pensacola.
