Arthritis Foundation Has Entries For The Upcoming
ING New York City Marathon
Newton, MA -- The Arthritis Foundation's Joints in Motion program is
recruiting runners to participate in the 2010 New York City Marathon. This
race is now closed to regular participants and entries can only be obtained
through a charity program like Joints in Motion. In exchange for entry,
training, and race gear, participants are asked to raise funds to support
the Arthritis Foundation.
Joints in Motion is a team of philanthropic athletes participating in road
racing, walks, triathlon, hiking, and other sports. Participants in the
Joints in Motion program work with one of the area's best coaches, Duncan
Warden, who personalizes training programs for each athlete to run or walk
the event of their choice. Joints in Motion athletes raise awareness and
funds to support the 46 million men, women and children living with the
challenge of Arthritis. Proceeds from the Joints in Motion program support
arthritis research and community programs and services.
