FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Patrick Makau Invites You to Run the 20th Volkswagen Prague Marathon

After his last visit to Prague the former Marathon World Record holder
(2011 - 2013) Patrick Makau pleasantly surprised the RunCzech team and the
running community with a personal video message inviting one and all to
take part in the 20th jubilee Volkswagen Prague Marathon on 11th May 2014.

You can watch the video here.

This IAAF Gold Label race was begun in 1995 by Carlo Capalbo, with the help
of Gelindo Bordin, the 1988 Olympic Marathon Champion, and the legendary
Czech runner Emil Zátopek. Since then the Prague Marathon has grown from
humble beginnings with some 900 runners in Stromovka Park to something as
powerful as the RunCzech Running League offering seven quality long
distances races in the Czech Republic with 60,030 participants in 2013.

As of Today the 20th Volkswagen Prague Marathon has already received over
60% more registrations than last year at this time which raises the
predictions for an even earlier sell-out. The organizers encourage
registering Listearly as the capacity of all RunCzech events is being
filled well in advance of closing dates. The lower registration fee for the
Volkswagen Prague Marathon is still available until December 13th.
