State Farm Insurance Sponsors 2008 ABC 7 Sarasota Marathons Pace Teams

Sarasota, Fla., Oct. 23, 2007 – State Farm Insurance is pleased to announce
its sponsorship of the Pace Teams in the third annual 2008 ABC 7 Sarasota
Marathon.

The ABC 7 Sarasota Marathon, scheduled for March 2, 2008, is a Boston
Marathon-qualifier, and has placed our city on the prestigious list of
cities boasting a world-class marathon. More importantly, the Sarasota
Marathon has donated $75,000 to local charities in its first two years.

Pace Teams are designed to assist runners with completing the marathon in a
specified time. Many runners use a "pacer" to help them achieve a Boston
qualifying time, or to achieve a certain finish-time goal. These Pace Team
leaders will run the 26.2 miles or 13.1 miles with a consistent time each
mile, while providing motivation and support along the course. To run with
a Pace Team is free to all registered marathoners and half-marathoners.
