Three Rivers Running Company to Host Veterans Marathon

Local running specialty retailer takes the reins for
2013 version of popular marathon in Columbia City

Fort Wayne, IN – (November 30, 2012) Representatives from Three Rivers
Running Company, city officials from Columbia City as well as members of
the current Veterans Marathon met to discuss the future of the race.

"Everyone was very supportive and the resounding message at the meeting was
to keep the race going," Eric Ade, TRRC General Manager said.

The race will be held on November 9th, 2013. The certified course in
Columbia City as well as the overall theme will remain the same. Details on
how to sign up for the race are still being finalized.

The Veterans Marathon was started by a 20 year US Army veteran and the new
race director, AJ Arnett, is a US Army veteran himself.

"Three Rivers Running Company is excited to continue a high-quality event
that honors our service men and women and supports our local businesses. We
also hope to utilize our existing relationships with running-related brands
to enhance the event," Arnett said.
