Two Cities Marathon Named As Team In Training Marathon
(FRESNO, CALIF.) - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Central California
Chapter has chosen the EYE-Q Two Cities Marathon and Half as one of their
Team in Training (TNT) marathons. Team in Training participants will now
have the opportunity to use the Valley's inaugural marathon as their fund
raising event.
"It is virtually unheard of for a marathon in its first year to be chosen
as part of the TNT program," said Michael Herman, Director of the EYE-Q Two
Cities Marathon and Half. "It's a tremendous compliment the TNT
representatives have chosen our race for their fund raising efforts,"
Herman said.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's TNT is the world's largest endurance
sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk
marathons and half marathons or participate in triathlons and century
(100-mile) bike rides. Since 1988, more than 360,000 volunteer participants
have helped raise more than $850 million. For more information about The
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's TNT program, call (559) 435-1482 or go to

The EYE-Q Two Cities Marathon and Half is scheduled for November 9, 2008
and is currently accepting race entries. A $5,000 prize purse has been
