West Coast Bank Is the Presenting Sponsor for the 9th Annual Newport
Marathon on June 2, 2007

NEWPORT, Ore., May 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- West Coast Bank is the
presenting sponsor for the ninth annual Newport Marathon on Saturday, June
2, 2007. The company will also staff a runner's aid station during the
sold-out race, which has drawn contestants from all 50 states as well as
Canada, Central America, Europe and the Far East.
