56-year-old wins Georgia race in 2:47:25

Local runner Anson Clapcott, 56, won Sunday's Tybee Marathon in Savannah, Ga.,crossing the tape in 2:47:25, becoming the race's oldest winner ever.
Gabby, also of Savannah, took the women's field in 3:05:40. .

Though she hadn't run a marathon since 1998 in Boston, and she recently recovered from injuries, Gabrielle Hauck won the Tybee Marathon.  She also tied the record for the women's race.

Back to back marathons planned for the weekend

Breaking with convention, Al Holtz and 57-year-old Don Dornfeld and his friend Al Holtz pursue their quest of back to back marathons...and they plan to do it again.  Having completed 20 U.S. marathons already, they are hoping to complete a marathon in each state.

Valerie Reed, last year's Tybee Marathon women's champ has high hopes of a repeat performance this year and she is considered one of the favorites.  In the men's race, Nick Fielder is considered the favorite.
