Jeff Martin of Sparta, Michigan won the Forest City Races Marathon in London, Ontario followed by Londoners Andy Tarr and Sergio Cruz. Vikki McKane of Albany, N.Y., won the women's division, beating out Londoner Mary Hanley and previous title holder, Londoner Julie Roberts.

Whitlock vows to break barrier in October.

Whitlock broke a world record on Sunday when, at age 70, he finished the Forest City Marathon in London, Ontario, in 3:00:24.
But he was looking to break the record and three hours in the race. He vowed that he will make that benchmark in October's Columbus Marathon.

68-year-old Londoner, Katherine Pye, isn't expecting a fast finish in the upcoming Forest City Races marathon.  She's still recovering from April's Boston Marathon where she had a personal best time of 3:55:26.
