Kenya Native Wins BR Marathon in Record Time

Having waited too long to enter the St. Jude Memphis Marathon, former University of South Alabama runner Samson Kipchirchir outlasted the field to win the Baton Rouge Marathon in an event record 2:34:57. Charlestown, Indiana's Traci Falbo won the women's event in 3:14:20, setting a personal best.
