Over rated. Disappointed! was expecting an incredible race, just ok.

Expectations were so high based on the selling of the marathon. Wasn't a great marathon. Cheered on my wife and neighbor.

Very poor course markings but good aid stations

Pros: Small, pleasant race. Decent parking and fun post-race celebration. Finisher jacket is a nice windbreaker. Great aid station volunteers. Cons: Route is VERY poorly marked. Multiple turns were missed by the front runners. CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS RACE until this is fixed!!! Can't count on having pacers show up. Not a lot of spectators.

Beautiful and lots of support

Running on Texas A&M campus was gorgeous! Hills are slight. So much course support. Gu, skittles, gummy bears, bananas, oranges, salt, Vaseline, Gatorade, water, and outhouses. Lots of enthusiastic people cheering you on. They do close the course right behind the 6h30m paced runner, so don't fall behind that mark or you will be removed, or left to navigate on your own. Got a cool light jacket at the end, huge metal, and a gong to bang. Free burritos and other regular end course goodies. I'll be back next year.
